Meet the Founders

So where did the names come from? In March 2021 Bearded Bros Ga started when two brothers spent the night in a church parking lot smoking BBQ for a surprise birthday/retirement party for their Dad. Needless to say the BBQ was a hit, the party was amazing and the name stuck. Fast forward later that year and after just 7 months of Josiah being married to his amazing wife Bethany, he unexpectedly lost his job. In January 2022 after some much needed downtime, Josiah took his passion of making custom goods for others and turned it into Bearded Bros Ga llc. Josiah started the company specializing in cutting boards, gifts, weddings, laser engraving and cnc work. A short time after making Bearded Bros Ga official, Bethany suggested the idea of expanding into candles.

Bethany, like most, loves to burn candles everyday as often as possible. Her love for candles grew, and Top Notch Candle Co. was unofficially launched in February 2022. Bethany and Josiah started testing and with the help of Bear Claw Vineyards located in Blue Ridge Ga they had a venue to sell their products. After long hours of cutting wine bottles and testing over 70 fragrances, the pair decided on their top ten scents. As of May 2022 Top Notch Candle Co. officially launched and continues to be sold at Bear Claw Vineyards and continues to grow the brand across North Ga. At Top Notch Candle Co. it is hard to focus on just one type of candle, so they primarily make candles for all occasions including Vineyards, Weddings, Everyday use, Outdoor and Travel.

The idea of making their products available to everyone and not just friends and family was exciting to say the least. They hope to achieve excellence in all areas of the business that translates through the products you receive. Working very closely with their clients, the two aim to make a product you will want to show off to your friends and family. The companies were started from passion and love, so they strive each and every day to reciprocate that to you all.
